Information disclosure via copyStickerContent path traversal
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Path traversal in LG Electronics LG Simple Editor 3.21.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to read sensitive files without authentication. The copyStickerContent command accepts a user-controlled path for file operations without constraining it to an intended directory. Network access to the application on port 8080 is sufficient, and successful requests disclose files readable by its SYSTEM-context process.
