Memory corruption in Apple Neural Engine before iOS 17, iPadOS 17, tvOS 17, watchOS 10, and macOS 14 allows local users to run kernel code. Apple identifies only improper memory handling in the component and has not disclosed the faulty operation or input that triggers it. Exploitation requires an app running on a device with Apple Neural Engine and grants arbitrary code execution with kernel privileges.
