Published Oct 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Information disclosure in Maps in Apple macOS before 14.1 allows local users to read sensitive location information from log entries. The Maps logging path writes sensitive location data to log entries without adequate private-data redaction. A locally running app and user interaction are required, and the exposed data is limited to location information.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
