CVE-2023-40355Network attack vector

Mailbox disclosure via crafted interface-switching link

Published Feb 7, 2024 · Updated Jun 17, 2025

Cross-site scripting in Axigen WebMail allows remote authenticated users to read mailbox content after an end user opens a crafted switching link. The Standard-to-Ajax switching logic executes attacker-controlled JavaScript supplied through the link, although Axigen has not disclosed the affected parameter or exact neutralization failure. Exploitation requires an active end-user session and user interaction; the script can iterate through folders and messages and exfiltrate mailbox content over HTTP.
