Authenticated command execution via FTP input
Published Feb 8, 2024 · Updated May 15, 2025
Command injection in Atos Unify OpenScape Voice Trace Manager V8 before V8 R0.9.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via FTP. The flaw is in the Trace Manager FTP service, but the vendor has not disclosed which FTP input reaches an operating-system command or how special characters evade neutralization. Valid FTP credentials and network reachability are required, and successful exploitation executes commands with the service's privileges, enabling host data access, modification, or service interruption.
