Published Aug 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Missing authorization in SoftLab Radio Player 2.0.73 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify player instances via update_player. The update_player AJAX handler accepts player-update requests without verifying a WordPress capability before changing stored player data. No authentication is required, and the documented consequence is limited to unauthorized modification of player instances.
