Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Broken access control in WP Logo Showcase Responsive Slider and Carousel 3.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to dismiss a license notice. The wpos_anylc_admin_init_process() function, hooked to admin_init, processes the dismissal without checking caller capabilities. Unauthenticated requests can change only the license-notice dismissal state; no site-content or account modification is reported.
