Stored script execution via unsanitized shortcode attributes
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Devaldi Limited FlowPaper 1.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through shortcode attributes. The WordPress shortcode handler insufficiently sanitizes and escapes user-supplied attributes before embedding them in page output. Contributor-level access permits persistent injection, and the script runs when a user views the affected page, enabling actions in that user's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
