Stored XSS via unescaped time zone value

Stored XSS in XWiki Platform allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts when a visitor views a profile with a crafted time zone. The displayer_timezone.vm template renders the stored time zone preference without XML escaping, so markup supplied outside the drop-down becomes active page content. A registered account is required to save the value, and execution requires another user to visit the malicious profile, exposing data and enabling escalation to programming rights.
