Request smuggling via plus-prefixed Content-Length parsing

Improper HTTP/1 length parsing in Eclipse Jetty before 9.4.52, 10.0.16, 11.0.16, and 12.0.1 allows remote attackers to smuggle requests. The HTTP/1 parser accepts a plus sign before the Content-Length numeral and treats the following bytes as the declared body instead of rejecting the field. Exploitation requires an upstream server that rejects the malformed header without closing the connection, creating inconsistent message boundaries that can bypass a WAF or IDS; the vendor reports no known exploit scenario.
