Unauthenticated code execution via exposed dangerous function
Published Sep 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Authentication bypass in Softneta MedDream PACS Premium 7.2.8.810 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code. The exposed server function performs privileged functionality before authenticating the request; public sources do not disclose its name, endpoint, or exact operation. Any network path to the affected service is sufficient; exploitation executes code on the PACS server without credentials or user interaction.
