License alteration via missing CSRF checks
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Cross-site request forgery in Moove Agency GDPR Cookie Compliance before 4.12.5 allows remote attackers to alter the plugin license. The license-management page processes activation and deactivation POST fields without proper CSRF checks, so a cross-origin form can submit them. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open attacker-controlled content; deactivation disables the license, while activation also requires a valid license key.
