SYSTEM code execution via ExportConfigs path traversal
Published Nov 9, 2023 · Updated Sep 4, 2024
Path traversal in SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager 2023.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code as SYSTEM. The incomplete fix for ExportConfigs leaves its user-supplied path insufficiently validated before file operations. A low-privileged account and adjacent network access are sufficient to run arbitrary code with full host privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
