Unrestricted upload in OpenEdge PASOE 11.7 before 11.7.18, 12.2 before 12.2.13, and before 12.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to write files. The WEB transport mishandles a crafted request and writes supplied content to an unintended directory on the PASOE host. A low-privilege account and an enabled WEB transport are required; a planted payload can support further compromise of the server or its network.
