Predictable WPA2 keys in Arris DG860A and DG1670A devices allow physically proximate attackers to gain unauthorized wireless access. The default-key generator combines the first six SSID characters with the last six BSSID characters after decrementing the final digit. An unchanged factory key and proximity to the Wi-Fi signal expose network access after passive beacon-frame observation.
