Cross-chart file disclosure via predictable Helm paths
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Path traversal in Argo CD before 2.3 allows remote authenticated users to read values and files from other Helm charts. The repo-server places Helm chart working directories at predictable paths, letting a crafted chart reference and render resources outside its authorized chart. Application creation or update privileges and shared repo-server handling are required; exposure is limited to files readable by that service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
