Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSRF in ThimPress WP Pipes 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings through a forged request. The save() function accepts state-changing input without validating a WordPress nonce before writing the submitted settings. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to open an attacker-controlled link or page; the bounded consequence is unauthorized settings modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
