Authenticated option disclosure via unrestricted shortcode
Published Nov 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Information disclosure in Booster for WooCommerce 7.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary WordPress options. The wcj_get_option shortcode accepts an attacker-chosen option name and returns the corresponding site option without restricting sensitive keys. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, exposing configuration values and secrets stored in WordPress options without changing site data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
