Admin-notice dismissal via missing nonce validation
Published Dec 13, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Essential Plugin Portfolio and Projects 1.3.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to dismiss admin notices. The wpos_anylc_admin_init_process function accepts a forged request without valid nonce verification and performs the notice-dismissal action. Exploitation requires an administrator to interact with an attacker-controlled link, and the resulting change is limited to admin-notice state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
