Stored XSS via unsanitized administrative settings
Published Oct 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in Repute InfoSystems ARMember Lite 4.0.16 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through admin settings. The global-settings handler in class.arm_global_settings.php stores administrator-supplied settings without sufficient sanitization and renders them without output escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and exposure is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; viewing an injected page executes the stored script.
