CVE-2023-39938Network attack vector

Unauthenticated script execution in logged-in browsers

Published Sep 5, 2023 · Updated Sep 30, 2024

Reflected cross-site scripting in i-PRO VI Web Client before 7.9.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary script in a logged-in user's browser. Published advisories do not identify the affected request parameter or the server-side output operation that returns untrusted input without safe encoding. No authentication is required to supply the input, but a logged-in user must open the crafted URL; script execution is confined to that user's browser context.
