Uncontrolled search path in Intel libva before 2.20.0 allows local users to escalate privileges through a user-controlled driver path. Affected builds let va_openDriver derive a shared-object filename from LIBVA_DRIVERS_PATH and load it with dlopen without excluding the environment value during privileged execution. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, user interaction, and a libva-using process that executes with elevated privileges.
