Authenticated script execution via unescaped style parameter
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in MingSoft MCMS 5.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser via search.do. The HTTP POST handler reflects the style parameter into its response without neutralizing HTML or script markup. A valid session and victim interaction are required, bounding impact to data access or actions available in the victim's browser context.
