Booking-data disclosure via session-backed SQL injection
Published Aug 15, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Doctor Appointment System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read booking data through a crafted userid value. doctors/doctorlogin.php copies the submitted userid into the session, and doctors/myAppoinment.php concatenates that value into a SELECT query without parameterization. The claim is disputed because a third party considers the session value server-controlled; exploitation depends on the reporter's asserted POST-to-session data flow.
