Database query execution via unneutralized recipe filters
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
SQL injection in /recipe-result in phpscriptpoint RecipePoint 1.9 allows attackers to execute unintended database queries through recipe filters. The endpoint fails to neutralize the text, category, type, difficulty, cuisine, and cooking_method parameters before using them in SQL processing. Remote reachability is established, but published assessments disagree on whether authentication is required; successful injection can read or alter application data.
