Administrator credential disclosure via blind SQL injection
Published Aug 21, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
SQL injection in NVK iBSG 3.5 allows remote attackers to read administrator usernames and unhashed passwords through an HTTP request. The unauthenticated /portal/user-register.php endpoint incorporates the a_passwd POST parameter into a database query without effective neutralization, enabling time-based blind extraction. Exposure of the web interface permits extraction of the admin table's a_login and a_passwd columns, while direct data modification was not demonstrated.
