Browser script execution via reflected color parameter
Published Aug 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in IceWarp Mail Server 10.4.5 allows remote attackers to execute browser scripts through the color parameter. The generated web response reflects attacker-controlled color input without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted request; the script then runs in the Mail Server origin and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
