Configuration tampering via reusable logged-out session
Published Oct 31, 2023 · Updated Sep 12, 2024
Insufficient session expiration in Elenos ETG 150 3.12 allows remote attackers to alter transmitter configuration via a stale session. The web interface's Preference endpoint accepts a previously intercepted save request after logout instead of invalidating its session authorization. Exploitation requires possession of a valid administrator session request, and successful replay changes temperature-unit and number-format settings.
