Unauthenticated SQL injection via unescaped controller inputs
Published Aug 28, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
SQL injection in Theme Volty CMS Blog 4.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or alter database data through a crafted blog request. TvcmsBlogSingleModuleFrontController::run() concatenates a blog post identifier and client-supplied IP headers into SQL strings without casting or escaping them. Guest access is sufficient, and successful injection can expose or delete shop data, obtain administrative access, or rewrite SMTP settings.
