Unauthenticated SQL injection via uncast numeric parameters
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
SQL injection in Theme Volty CMS Payment Icon 4.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or alter PrestaShop data via AJAX requests. The ajax.php update_position action inserts attacker-controlled position and record identifier values into UPDATE statements without integer casting. Guest access is sufficient, and exploitation exposes sensitive tables, rewrites shop settings, deletes data, or grants administrative access.
