Information disclosure in BUFFALO INC. TeraStation TS5410R firmware 5.00-0.07 allows remote attackers to enumerate NAS metadata over SMB and RPC. The appliance accepts SMB and RPC authentication for the built-in guest account after that account is disabled in the management interface. Network access to SMB or RPC is sufficient to list users, groups, shares, filesystem paths, and share access-control details; file contents are not shown as exposed.
