Subscriber-level user metadata modification via unrestricted apg_profile_update

Improper authorization in ACF Photo Gallery Field 1.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to modify arbitrary user metadata. The apg_profile_update function accepts attacker-chosen metadata keys and string values without adequately restricting which keys a subscriber can update. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and the resulting write is limited to string-valued user metadata rather than arbitrary database records.
