Browser script execution via unsanitized KAI parameters
Published Aug 29, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in AudimexEE 15.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser via crafted requests. The wal.fcgi handler fails to sanitize numerous Show KAI Data filter parameters and upload_kai_import content before browser interpretation. Exploitation requires a normal portal account and victim interaction; successful payloads run JavaScript in the victim's browser context.
