CVE-2023-39545Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via exposed files

Published Nov 17, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

Files or directories accessible to external parties in NEC EXPRESSCLUSTER X products 5.1 and earlier allow remote authenticated users to execute commands. The WebManager/Cluster WebUI exposes files or directories to logged-in users without enforcing the intended access restrictions. A valid product login and network access to WebManager are required; successful exploitation yields arbitrary command execution on the server.
