Improper input validation in the BIOS OFBD component of AMI Aptio V allows local users to compromise firmware confidentiality and integrity. AMI has not published the malformed input, affected OFBD handler, or validation operation that fails. Exploitation requires high privileges and high attack complexity; successful exploitation can also interrupt firmware availability.
