Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via unsanitized filename
Published Aug 7, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Path traversal in PrestaShop before 8.1.1 allows remote authenticated users to delete server files through the back-office import flow. FileRemoval::remove concatenates an attacker-controlled filename with import directories without first reducing it to a basename, so traversal segments escape those directories. High-privilege back-office access is required, and successful exploitation can remove writable server files and interrupt the shop.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
