Password-hash disclosure via unfiltered user-list response
Published Aug 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Information disclosure in FIT2CLOUD CloudExplorer Lite before 1.4.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain password hashes. The management-center user-list endpoint serializes each user's password MD5 value instead of filtering credential fields from its response. An administrator session is required; the exposed hashes permit offline recovery of passwords present in MD5 lookup collections.
