Information disclosure via OXPS out-of-bounds read
Published May 3, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in PDF-XChange Editor 9.5.366.0 allows remote attackers to disclose memory through a crafted OXPS file. The OXPS parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading it, allowing a read beyond the end of an allocated object. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious file; the disclosure supports code execution only when chained with another flaw.
