CVE-2023-39454

Unauthenticated code execution via buffer overflow

Published Aug 18, 2023 · Updated May 12, 2026

Buffer overflow in ELECOM wireless LAN routers and repeaters allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code over the local network. ELECOM and JPCERT/CC have not disclosed the affected component, input, or unchecked copy operation that overruns its buffer. Exploitation requires unauthenticated LAN-side access and grants code execution on the appliance, enabling data access, modification, and service interruption.
