CVE-2023-39421Network attack vector

Third-party service access via embedded API keys

Published Sep 7, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in IRM Next Generation 5.4.1.23 allow remote authenticated users to access messaging services via embedded API keys. RDPWin.dll stores Twilio and Vonage API keys in the application binary instead of obtaining installation-specific credentials from protected storage. Low-privileged network access is required, and recovered keys permit unrestricted interaction with those external services; published material does not define the permitted operations.
