Unauthenticated Control Panel access via exposed handlers
Published Aug 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Improper authentication in North Grid Proself affected editions allows remote attackers to access the Control Panel without credentials. The downloadhistory.xml and setclustermyid.xml process definitions expose administrative handler URLs without enforcing administrator authentication. Network access to either handler is sufficient, and the documented consequence is unauthorized access to stored files rather than service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
