Improper authorization in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI installd allows remote attackers to read and write sandbox files without authorization. The installd module fails to verify an undisclosed parameter before permitting sandbox file operations; Huawei has not disclosed the parameter or request path. Affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, 3.0.0, and 3.1.0, and EMUI 11.0.1, 12.0.0, 12.0.1, and 13.0.0; no privileges or user interaction are required.
