Buffer overflow in affected Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI releases allows remote attackers to make the home screen unavailable via PMS input. The PMS module fails to strictly validate input parameters before performing a size-unchecked buffer copy, permitting an invalid memory operation. The network path requires no authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is limited to loss of home-screen availability.
