CVE-2023-39337Network attack vector

User impersonation via improper certificate issuance

Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024

Improper certificate issuance in Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile 11.8, 11.9 and 11.10 allows attackers to impersonate enrolled users. Ivanti has not disclosed the faulty code path; the enrollment workflow issues a valid certificate for another user when prerequisite device information is supplied. Exploitation requires a stolen device with a valid user certificate or open enrollment, and access behind Sentry requires chaining with the companion enrollment flaw.
