User impersonation via improper device enrollment
Published Nov 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Privilege management failure in Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile 11.10, 11.9, 11.8 and earlier allows attackers to enroll as another user. The device-enrollment workflow accepts an existing user's identity for an attacker's device, but Ivanti has not disclosed the faulty validation check. Exploitation requires a stolen device with a valid user certificate or an open-enrollment deployment, and the direct result is unauthorized device enrollment.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=11.10.0.0 <=11.10.0.0
- Affected versionversion=11.8.0.0 <=11.8.0.0
