Unauthenticated script execution via unsanitized survey responses
Published Sep 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Awesome Motive UserFeedback 1.0.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute scripts through crafted survey responses. The survey-response path stores attacker-controlled fields without sufficient input sanitization and later renders them without adequate output escaping. No account is required, but a visitor must open an affected page for the stored script to run in that visitor's browser, enabling page-content access or modification.
