Authenticated file upload via missing type validation
Published Mar 26, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in ThemeFusion Avada 7.11.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to place dangerous files on the server. The ajax_import_options function accepts uploaded files without validating their type; the patched implementation restricts uploads to JSON. Contributor access is required, and executing an uploaded PHP file additionally depends on winning a race condition.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
