OS command injection in QNAP QTS, QuTS hero, and QuTScloud allows remote authenticated users to execute commands over a network. QNAP has not disclosed the affected component or the operation that passes attacker-controlled input to an operating-system command. A valid low-privilege account and network access are required, and successful exploitation executes arbitrary commands on the NAS operating system.
