Memory corruption in CsmInt10HookSmm in InsydeH2O 5.0 through 5.5 allows local users to gain SMM privileges via an SMRAM write. The SMM driver accepts fixed or predictable data and writes it into protected SMRAM, corrupting memory. Exploitation requires local low privileges and no user interaction; successful attacks can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability at SMM privilege.
