Format string vulnerability in ASUS RT-AX55, RT-AX56U V2, and RT-AC86U allows remote authenticated administrators to execute code. The General function API in apply.cgi fails to validate a value before using it as a format string, enabling crafted requests to alter execution or system operations. Exploitation requires administrator privileges on the router and can also disrupt service.
